Maria is a Spanish designer, born and raised in Madrid, Spain.  She holds an Interior Design degree from the Universidad Politecnica de Madrid. After graduating, Maria moved to Milan, Italy to obtain her Masters degree in Furniture Design from the Italian Instituto Marangoni and began working for the design studio ADP Milano, specializing in retail and residential design.
