Description
Neglected since its original 1983 construction, this Hollywood Hills vertical home felt lifeless and disconnected from its setting. The clients wanted a warm, masculine environment influenced by Balinese style. We infused natural textures, layered finishes, and global details to create a soulful retreat in the hills.
Design Approach
Natural materials like wood and metal were layered to create richness and depth. A mix of light and dark brought balance between masculine and feminine, while structural changes improved flow. Updated surfaces, new windows and doors, and full furnishings elevated the home into a luxurious retreat.
Outcome
Updated with timeless selections, the home is now designed for today and the future. Each room feels like a warm, modern escape.
